Trip to Ohio
Playing Rock band with Regan.
I went to classic skating with the Gardiners. Afterwards I brought Kierra & Kassidy home for a slumber party. I made them fettucini alfredo (They kept saying "This is GOOD!"), hot chocolate, popcorn, and we watched cartoons.
June
I went on what wound up being an extended trip to see Ken. I met him in Richmond, Virginia. We went while he went to work I went to see Monticello with Patrick and Ellie. (My brother and mother-in-law). The next day we all went to Washington, DC where I saw the Holocaust museum (sad), the white house, Washington monument hope diamond, and the international spy museum. It was pretty cool. I was supposed to go home, but I bought my ticket for the wrong date so I had to stay for another week. It was nice to be with my hubby though. So I hung out with Poobah (Father-in-law) and Ken for a week and we went to Ohio again, back to Virginia, and I finally came home.
Right before I left (literally right before, Jeanine was going to take me to the airport and we had to change plans) Kierra was rushed to the hospital. After a while they discovered her appendix had burst and she had to go through surgery. I was sad that I couldn't be there to see her. This is her in the hospital, and also later when I finally came home, she still had her pick line in.
July- I went to San Francisco to be a volunteer for the Smart Marriages conference. While there I stayed with Matt, Wendy, & Austin, and visited with Karen & Andrew McNabb. Andrew was interning at Google for the summer and we went to dinner there and I love Google! hooray!
I met Ken in Florida. We went to Universal Studios, Orlando with his sister Miriam and her husband Evan. We all had a blast together. Miriam is my new buddy.
August- I finally got my husband back!!! Ken came home for about two days before we left to Arizona for the week to be with my family. We had a nice relaxing vacation.
For the rest of August Ken & I finally got to relax. We hung out with friends.
Our date to Thanksgiving point with Karen, Andrew, and Linda
September- I went to the Hunt Family Reunion. This is me riding the trails.
October- Katy had a James Bond themed Birthday Party. Ken & I went as Moneypenny & Bond from "The Living Daylights" Hooray Timothy Dalton. This party sparked my determination to watch every Bond film. All I have left is moonraker.
